Overview

ThinkAlike is a word association game for iOS. Your privacy is important to us, and ThinkAlike is designed with that in mind. This policy explains what data the app does and does not collect.

Data Collection

ThinkAlike does not directly collect, store, or transmit any personal data. Specifically:

• No accounts or sign-ups are required.
• No personal information is requested or stored by ThinkAlike.
• ThinkAlike does not operate its own servers or analytics.

Advertising

ThinkAlike displays banner ads provided by Google AdMob on select gameplay screens. Google's ad SDK may collect certain data to serve and measure ads, including:

• Device identifiers (e.g., advertising ID)
• IP address and coarse location
• Ad interaction data (impressions, taps)
• Device and app information (model, OS version, app version)

This data is collected and processed by Google under their own privacy policy. ThinkAlike does not have direct access to this data.

On first launch, you will be asked whether to allow tracking via Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt. This is entirely optional — you can deny tracking and the app will function normally. If denied, ads will still appear but will be less personalized.

You can permanently remove all ads by purchasing the "Remove Ads" option in Settings. Once purchased, no ad-related data is collected.

Local Storage

ThinkAlike stores the following data locally on your device only:

• Your game settings and preferences.
• Word history to avoid repeating words during gameplay.
• In-app purchase status.

This data never leaves your device and can be removed by deleting the app.

Multiplayer

Multiplayer games use Apple's local networking framework to connect nearby devices over WiFi or Bluetooth. Communication happens directly between devices on the local network — no data passes through external servers. The only information shared with other players during a game is your chosen display name and your in-game answers.

In-App Purchases

ThinkAlike offers optional in-app purchases processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. ThinkAlike does not have access to your payment information.

Children's Privacy

ThinkAlike does not collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13.

Changes to This Policy

If this policy is updated, the revised version will be posted on this page with an updated date.
